Steele has had a new sidekick lately. This new sidekick MUST go everywhere with us. And MUST be treated like the rest of the family. He gets tucked into bed with him and he gets goodnight kisses. He gets wrapped in Steele's prize blankie that no one else gets to use. Which none of really complain about since he doesn't allow this blankie to be washed either. Any meal that is offered MUST be approved by Wolfie too. I even had to put a bandage on Wolfie yesterday cause he had an ouchie. Wolfie was a gift from our dear friend Martin that came to visit us last year. I always tell them the best treasures are gifts from friends.

Hey Brandie, Wolfies relatives are in trouble. They eased up on the restrictions over here as to hunting wolves. We´ve got some 200 in all and the government allowed for 27 to be shot. They say it´s for the good of the wolves as they are from a too limited genepool, but they don´t check on wich ones were shot until after the fact meaning, healthy, breeding animals migrated in from russia got shot along with a few mama wolves who had pups. I don´t care if you shoot them of around livestock or when they get too close to town, but this was just to make the politicians and their hunting buddies happy!
Better keep that info from Steele and Wolfie, don´t want him to loose that smile!!
