Misc pictures

This is where my grapevine is going to be. There used to be one years ago and then the fire came through. You can still see burn marks on some of the posts. I weeded it out last year and tried to repair it the best I could. I tried to plant some grapes there last year but the water situation was not worked out yet and I wasn't able to keep them alive. I will have better luck this year I am sure.

Here is what the kids were up to after I kicked them out of the house cause they were making me nuts! Poor blind Squeakers, he puts up with so much! Those sacks thrown over his neck are their lunch sacks. And Yes, Steele is in his pajamas. I am mother of the year. I didn't get out of my pjs either!

This is Beau Bunny. She has been out running around in my garden for the last two weeks having a blast.

Jeremy and Linda heading over the hill for a ride yesterday while the kids and I were out playing.

The mares are settling in real nice. It is so great to see them out like they should be instead of standing around looking at the same four walls.

Sam-the dun colt

This is Sam. He is a three year old QH colt Jeremy has been riding.

He will go to his new owners soon. I have not felt well today so this was the only time I ventured outside all day so far. I barfed up a perfectly good steak dinner last night and am still trying to feel "normal". Sorry, just keeping it real...........

He is a handsome guy. The horse and the guy. We just had him gelded a couple of weeks ago. Just the horse, although Jeremy will be next! Should have been done along time ago but that is another story. The horse. Don't ask! Anyhow, he is doing fine with it.

Jeremy said usually he likes to buck when he lopes.............I figured I would keep the camera pointed at them. He didn't though, he went real nice and smooth.

I love watching him ride. I could do it all day long..........but it was cold and I am not feeling good..........Is that considered whining now?

I thought he was looking awfully soft and nice minded by this time. He was going real nice in the bosal but his new owners preferred to have Jeremy start him in a snaffle. This was his first ride in the snaffle. It took him some time to get used to it.

Mr. Studmuffin is not happy!

This is our stallion, Cody. He is the horse that I ride most often and father of the two colts that Jeremy and I rode at our last clinic. He is a very easy stallion to have around. I mean as far as stallions go. Really I wish I would have gelded him a long time ago. I just love riding him, he is athletic, willing and kind, but none the less still a stud. And now that the kids are riding alot it is hard for me to ride with them. I worry too much............

That is his normal "home" up by where the mares are hanging out. We moved him out of there because it is right on the perimeter fence (by perimeter fence I mean the fence that encompasses the house, horses and feed barn. The property the horses are turned out on is still part of the ranch.) and it sure wouldn't have been a good idea to have the girls pestering him. Boy is he mad about them running all over and he cannot keep track of them!

The Wild Girls

This is Min, the paint mare Jeremy rides at alot of the clinics. This morning the other three mares were all in one piece and happy so we added three more.

This is Suena and hiding behind her is Cheyenne, my mustang mare. Boy is she happy! She won't come anywhere near me for fear I will lock her up again.
