Katrina

This is Katrina, the wild mare we picked up yesterday. This is the same mare Jeremy worked with a few weekends ago. A friend, Paul decided he would like to adopt her. She will be boarding her here while working with her. There are a couple of youtube videos different people took of him working her. She is settling in fine. It will be fun to keep up with her progress!

Steele getting to ride on the dozer with Travis. He thought that was the coolest thing ever! He stayed outside with the guys all day watching that dozer. It was perfect weather and we are very excited to have a beautifully flat arena. Thank you Travis!

The Dozer!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Today we are working on our arena area. Our friend brought a dozer over and they are working on leveling the arena and cattle pens.

Here is a picture of our lower pond that is near the horse corrals. Up behind the almond tree is where Cody's corral is. I took this picture early in the day and with the rain all day it is now covering the whole bottom of the dock. I am having alot of fun with this blog but I would love to make it more interactive. So........here is the question. What do you most want to see pictures of? As far as our lives and such. I guess pretty much everything is already out there on our website so rack your brains and give me a purpose!

Rainy Day........

So we are finally getting some more much needed rain. It is a beautiful crisp day. There is nothing like the smell of wet sage. Jeremy and Steele are outside pulling down some pipe panels so we can get the area leveled. Our creeks are flowing well and the pond is starting to swell. We will most likely need to work on the overflow side to give it somewhere to go. I want to try and plant trees behind the corrals again where the overflow goes but we still have Carver, Jeremy horse, runnning loose and he thinks that they are for him to eat. Sage is sitting next to me painting while I add this post. I am off to go take some pictures of Jeremy and Steele out working. It has started to rain again and Jeremy is not feeling too good anyhow so I think they will be in soon.

Finally, here is my attempt at a blog! There is always something going on around here and it will be fun to share our lives. We also love hearing from you all so feel free to write us should the desire arise. I am off to take some pictures!
